Recruiting App Concept
2022
An app that makes hiring a freelancer an easy task.
As a UX designer, I was tasked to create an application that would function as a recruiting hub, both for freelancers who wanted to find gigs and companies who needed part-time workers. The workers and the companies both would be able to manage the job within the app.

The challenge consisted in developing an app for a recruiting company whose users consisted of two different personas:
User 1: companies that need a worker for a single day (eg.: wedding photographer)
User 2: qualified workers/freelancers looking for a gig.
For this project, the main stakeholder was the external client, and during the process a couple of meetings were used as the validation process for each phase.
Phase 1: Discovery
I started the project by investigating what were the competitors of the product developing and what were their strengths and weaknesses by doing a benchmark analysis
I then conducted interviews with users from similar platforms to understand what were their needs when it comes to finding a job, as well as interviewing users who needed to hire a contractor for a short period gig.
I was then able to understand what features the product would need to present in order to appeal and solve the needs of these two different users. In order to validate these features, I developed an information architecture map, in order to validate the flow of each user:
After the validation of the flow, I sketched the wireframes for parts of the flow:
The wireframes were then validated, and I have proceeded to develop hi-fi prototypes for the product:
